This policy covers website repairs, website maintenance, web design, SEO and other services supplied by Core Web UK. These are services delivered remotely, not physical goods requiring a postal return. Read it with our Terms & Conditions and the scope and price agreed for your order.
Core Web UK is the trading name of Toufik Beladi, sole trader, at 125 Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon, CR0 6PU, United Kingdom. For cancellation, refunds or complaints, email info@corewebuk.co.uk, call 07821 004213, or write to this address. Please include your name and order or invoice reference if available. A clear cancellation request is sufficient; you do not have to use a particular form.
We mainly work with businesses. A consumer is an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. The statutory cooling-off rights below apply where you qualify as a consumer and the contract falls within the applicable distance or off-premises selling rules. Business purchases do not automatically have the same statutory cooling-off period. Our agreed service commitments and any applicable legal rights still apply.
You may cancel an eligible service contract without giving a reason from the time it is made until the end of 14 days starting the day after the contract is made. Send your cancellation before that period expires. If we have not provided the legally required cancellation information, your cancellation period may be extended by law.
If you want work to start during the cooling-off period, you must expressly request an early start. Payment alone or acceptance of general terms does not automatically remove your cancellation rights. We will ask you to acknowledge that you lose the cooling-off right only once the service has been fully performed following your express request.
If you cancel after an expressly requested early start but before completion, you may have to pay only a proportionate amount for the service actually supplied up to cancellation, based on the agreed total price. This applies only where we gave you the required information about cancellation and payment beforehand. If those requirements were not met, or you did not expressly request an early start, we will not charge you for work supplied during the cooling-off period following that cancellation. Our no-fix, no-fee promise below continues to apply.
Calling a repair “emergency” or delivering it online does not, by itself, remove a consumer's statutory cancellation rights.
For emergency website repair work sold under our no-fix, no-fee promise, if we cannot resolve the issue within the agreed scope, we do not retain a repair fee. If you paid in advance, we refund that payment. We do not treat diagnosis alone as a successful repair unless you separately agreed to purchase a diagnostic-only service before ordering.
We agree any additional work and price with you before proceeding. A successful repair covers the agreed issue; it does not guarantee that unrelated faults, later changes or new incidents will never occur. If the agreed repair has not been completed properly, contact us so we can investigate. Successful completion does not remove your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed services.
Your order or written agreement must state the amount, billing interval, included work, any minimum term and how renewal and cancellation work. A one-off repair does not automatically enrol you in maintenance.
You can request cancellation by emailing info@corewebuk.co.uk. For a rolling monthly plan with no separately agreed minimum term or notice period, cancellation stops the next renewal if your request reaches us before that renewal is processed. The plan remains available until the end of the paid billing period unless we agree an earlier end. We confirm the end date and any final balance in writing. Cancelling an automatic payment alone does not tell us whether you also wish to end the service.
Outside an applicable cooling-off period, properly supplied maintenance for a billing period already started is not automatically refundable merely because you choose not to use it. Any refund for an unused period depends on your agreement and applicable rights. We refund amounts taken in error after cancellation became effective and amounts due for services we cannot supply. Consumer cancellation and faulty-service rights take priority over this paragraph.
A deposit is a payment towards your agreed project, not a blanket waiver of your rights. If you cancel, we assess the agreed work already supplied and any lawful, reasonable cancellation costs. We explain any deduction and refund any balance due. We do not automatically retain every deposit or demand payment for work not supplied regardless of the circumstances. Consumer cooling-off rules apply where relevant.
We must perform services with reasonable care and skill. Where consumer law applies, you may be entitled to repeat performance at no extra cost within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. Where repeat performance is impossible or is not provided as required, you may be entitled to a price reduction, potentially up to the full price. Other legal remedies may also apply. No term in this policy excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For a valid consumer cooling-off cancellation of a service, we make any refund due without undue delay and within 14 days after being informed of the cancellation. For a consumer service price-reduction refund, we pay without undue delay and within 14 days beginning with the day we agree you are entitled to it. We also aim to issue approved no-fix, no-fee and other agreed refunds within 14 days.
We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and we do not charge you a refund administration fee. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the credit. Where you used a payment instalment provider, we process the refund through the applicable payment arrangement; contact that provider about its repayment schedule.
Send your concerns to info@corewebuk.co.uk with the relevant order details and the outcome you seek. We investigate and explain our proposed resolution. If we cannot resolve a consumer complaint, we will provide information about an appropriate alternative dispute resolution body and tell you whether we are obliged or willing to use it. You retain the right to seek independent advice or use the courts.
Complete and send this only if you wish to cancel an eligible contract. You may instead send any clear cancellation statement.
